Seniors Programs
Text Description

One of our goals for the Center is to provide senior services to support Occidental area residents wishing to age in place rather than move to assisted living or nursing home facilities.   Click on the link for more information. Aging In Place

We are currenlty in discussions with Community and Family Services, Guerneville to provide senior services at the Occidental Community Center weekday mornings.  Services would inlcude include social and educational programs, and a senior lunch program in coordination with the existing lunchprogram at St. Phillips Church.

West County Community Services Senior Resources mission is to empower seniors to live independently by strengthening their family network.  Many of these seniors are physically isolated from services they need to help them stay in their homes. Our Senior Programs provide life-sustaining and life-enriching services that assist seniors in living productive, independent and meaningful lives.
It has been proven that staying active physically, socially and mentally keeps you healthier in body and mind. The Occidental Community Services Senior Resources would have a variety of activities and services for adults age 60+ that provide the opportunity to meet new friends and explore new interests.
